Prior
to founding Versa Capital, Inc., Joel Simaie served as Vice
President in the Real Estate Finance Group of Lehman Brothers
in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for providing debt
and equity financing for acquisition and development projects
throughout the United States.
Mr.
Simaie has been involved in the commercial real estate industry
for over 9 years and has built an extensive relationship with
public and private investment firms, banks, developers, brokers
and capital providers. During his career in real estate he has
funded over $1 Billion dollars in commercial financing ranging
in size from $1 Million to $200 Million. Prior to Lehman Brothers,
Mr. Simaie he held positions at George Smith Partners and Arthur
Andersen.
Joel
Simaie received his Masters in Business Administration from
the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.
He is active in various professional organizations including
the Urban Land Institute, ICSC and the Lusk Center for Real
Estate. Mr. Simaie also guest lectures in both USC and UCLA
on topics of finance and has been a panelist on various real
estate conferences.
